Taste Buds

I am not one for measuring ingredients out (Jamie Oliver style), I just go along with it and taste as I cook to make sure it is seasoned to my taste.

In a pan fry some chopped onions, garlic, 200 grams of low fat mince beef and 200 grams of pork sausage. I used Breakfast Sausage and squeezed it out of the skins. Fry for about 7 minutes until brown, remove from heat and drain the fat and juice off. Add a tin of chopped tomatoes to the pan and a good handful of rice, return the meat to the pan and simmer until the rice is cooked, approx 12 minutes or so. Add some salt and pepper to season. If the mixture is too wet just let it reduce on a low heat until it is dry. Leave to cool.

I bought three huge green peppers from Aswaaq for 2 dhms, chop the tops off and remove all the seeds and white pith, fill with the meat mixture and then cook in a medium hot oven for approx 30 - 45 mins, turning half way through.
