I have no idea how much money is wasted globally on anti-aging creams, but I have to admit that sadly, I have contributed to it, but not anymore. As we age our skin becomes drier and needs more hydration, I am pretty sure a fancy pot of cream will not reduce the evidence of aging, we all age, it is a fact of life and it is not something we can control unless we choose to head down the Plastic Surgery route. Whilst plastic surgery can reduce the chronological age of your face, there is nothing you can do about your hands showing your true age!! Botox your fingers?  I think not.

About a year ago when Lancome yet again put up their prices for their skincare range, I decided enough was enough and I started looking for cheaper alternatives. LÓreal isn't bad value for money but it definately didn't work and I saw no visible difference whatsoever to any fine lines that I have.  So I went even cheaper, and am currently using Johnson's 24 Hour Facial Moisturiser (25 dhs for 50 mls), and I love it!! smooth to apply, sinks in quickly, and is non-greasy. As I said before the majority of us suffer from dehydration lines on our faces as opposed to actual wrinkles. I also recommend the Boots Heavenly Hydration Moisture Mask (approx 85 dhs), it is a rich creamy masque which I apply at night and leave on overnight.

We are all happy to water our gardens to keep them looking fresh, but alot of us don't spend enough time watering our faces, don't forget try and consume a 1.5l bottle of water a day, it will show in your face.
